Full-time Maintenance Position (Hoboken, NJ) MAINTENANCE / HANDYMAN (Residential Complex) seeking a qualified employee, full time with at least 2 years’ experience, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking individual. Candidate must be able to work independently and work well with others troubleshooting day-to-day residential maintenance issues and Fulfilling work orders Maintenance staff is required to work from Monday - Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm unless emergencies arise. Brief description of maintenance duties: General plumbing such as toilet removal and installation; Kitchen faucet repairs, removal and replacement. Repairing, removing and installation of pvc/brass sink drain traps both bath and kitchen. Experienced in soldering (sweating) copper water lines. Dishwasher installations. Minor electrical repairs, troubleshooting, installations and replacement of 120v and occasionally 220v duplex outlets, GFCI outlets, light switches; light bulbs, bath wall light and ceiling light fixtures etc. General Carpentry skills such as repairing and installing bedroom and closet doors. Minor wood working. installation of base molding, kitchen cabinet repairs and some drywall. Applicant must have experience and knowledge to safely use power tools such as drills, hand saws, table saws and drain snake machines. Personal tools are not required or recommended. Any and All tools are provided by employer and should be on site at all times for daily use. Must be on time. Hours are from 8am - 5pm Monday -Friday. Pay is 18 HR and based on experience.
