Assistant Maintenance Tech/Handyman We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Tech Assistant with a strong background in multi-family residential maintenance. The Maintenance Tech Assistant will be responsible for common area and apartment repairs in the scope of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and appliances. This individual will handle all aspects of the property’s maintenance, including the physical grounds, ensuring curb appeal through interior and exterior building inspections, grounds maintenance, and preventive maintenance. Customer service is a priority, and attention to detail are critical skills to ensure the satisfaction of the community’s residents. Overview: -Maintenance- Residential Requirements: -Efficiently complete all daily work orders within 24 hours. -Troubleshoot and repair any maintenance issues involving plumbing, HVAC, appliances and carpentry. -Painting -Must have the ability to respond to after hour emergencies. Experience: -Good problem solving and/or troubleshooting skills. -Minimum of 5 years experience in this field is required. Qualifications: -Responsibilities include but are not limited to keeping our grounds in first class condition through diligence and preventative maintenance. -Good communication skills both verbal and written between co-workers and tenants.
