JOB DESCRIPTION Multi skilled laborer- Do you want to work for a fun and exciting company where we promote from within and teach you our process on erosion control providing you with the tools to be a successful and earn a good living? Seabreeze is a lake restoration company located in Fort Myers. We are looking for a full-time, dependable, on-time individual with experience in the landscaping or construction industry to join our team and perform erosion control on lakes in gated communities. Must have experience driving a half-ton or larger pickup truck, pulling trailers and operating light machinery. This involves placing rip rap and shell on repaired slopes/lake banks. We offer a competitive salary! NOTE: MUST HAVE MACHINE OPERATING EXPERIENCE! You MUST have experience working outdoors in all types of weather (including heat), and you MUST have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance. Responsibilities include: Drive a landscaping dump truck and trailer to and from job sites Operate a mini excavator and other light equipment Loading and unloading tools, materials, etc. Shoreline work, placing rock, labor Report incidents to management and human resources Adhere to all OSHA safety standards Job Requirements: Clean drivers license and ability to operate a skid steer and truck/pulling trailer At least 5 years of experience in the landscaping, construction, or similar industry Reliable transportation to office (we provide ride to jobsite from our office) Ability to take direction and carry out instructions Ability to read and understand plans Previous experience supervising at least 2 crew members Arrive to office on-time and ready to begin work Pay and Perks: Holidays Off (if they fall on weekdays) Christmas bonus Job bonuses if done ahead of schedule or under budget Competitive pay based on experience Paid time off after 60 days 6 paid holidays 2 company fun days per year Occasional overtime is possible FUN WORKING ATMOSPHERE FULL TIME 10 HOUR DAYS MONDAY-THURSDAY Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
