KC Lawn & Landscape in Portland Connecticut is seeking individuals to fill positions on both our mowing landscape crews. KC Lawn & Landscape has been providing superior commercial and residential property maintenance since 2005. These are full time positions that will include a wide range of property maintenance & landscaping work. Overtime and occasional weekends will be required to work depending on the work load and the weather conditions. We are seeking individuals who are career-minded, can work as a team and have a strong work ethic. Duties will include but not limited to weekly mowing service. The installation of trees, plants and flowers. Installing pavers, fire pits and retaining walls. Bed maintenance, mulching & pruning. Seasonal cleanups and snow removal in the winter months. General Requirements: • Valid driver license with clean driving record. • All applicants must have 2-3 years experience. • Applicants also must be able to use a wide range of mowing and or landscape equipment safely and proficiently on a daily basis. • Capable of driving a truck with a trailer. • Capable of operating a skid steer / mini excavator. • Must be able to pass drug & background screening. • Reliable transportation to our shop in Portland. • Currently have or be able to obtain a DOT medical card. • Ability to work in various weather conditions. • Good physical condition, Capable of lifting 50 pounds or more. • Be able to follow instructions and work well with others. • Able to work longer hours and Saturdays depending on the work load and weather conditions.
