Description

NASHUA, NH — Nashua School District Superintendent Jahmal Mosley has canceled school for Dec. 17, according to a post on Twitter. Even though only 3- to 6-inches of snow is slated to fall in the Gate City during the 18-hour storm, Mosley said the height of the storm was expected around lunchtime, which made it necessary to cancel school. "Given this time line an early release will not be in the best interest of our children both walkers and those that take buses," Mosley said. It appears the height of the storm here in Nashua will be at approximately 12:30pm-1:00pm. Given this time line an early release will not be in the best interest of our children both walkers and those that take buses. Therefore I am cancelling school for tomorrow December 17.— NashuaSchools (@NASHUASCHOOLS) December 17, 2019 Got a news tip? Send it to Tony Schinella at [email protected].
