It always amazes me when i see posts like this. A cafe in this case asking musicians to pick a day and bring your sound gear and try it out and let the world see you and of course they offer no pay. Just put your "beaker" out and hope a few stragglers put a dollar in the beaker. Do bar owners really disrespect musicians that much to ask them to play for free or is it they know some idiots will show up and do this? All you we'll play for exposure bands deserve this. You's created this cause your so desperate to play that you will give your talent away cause its better than sitting home. I don't need to move a stick of gear to let the world see me. All you need is social media and the world will see you. By the way to the Cafe owners. Would you mind catering a party for me this summer. You can bring your hot plates, portable ovens etc and try it out so all my friends can try out your cooking. I can't pay you but you can put a large pot out for tips. Like how that sounds? Probably not!
