Description
Join us each month to explore how the practice of reciprocity is alive in your life. reciprocity def.: to give and receive to create more harmony in the world. We will begin each circle with collective meditation, breathing, voice activation, and movement with rhythm. We will then share how reciprocity is showing up in our lives through words, song, and musical offerings. Bring a musical instrument if you prefer to share in rhythm and a notebook if you like to journal. Why? People have been gathering together in circles for thousands of years to perform sacred rituals and ceremonies. The Reciprocity Circle ⭕️ will invite you to connect more fully with yourself, others, and our shared home, Mother Earth. Our hope in sharing is that we encourage one another to understand and honor our responsibility for all we have been given and all we have taken so that we may give our unique gifts back to the world in celebration. When we come together to practice and share, we maintain awareness of where we are seeing reciprocity and where we are not. As a community, we create a space where everyone is encouraged to speak up, sing out, and express. And together we bring more understanding, acceptance, harmony and love in the world. Who? YOU, your grandparents, best friends, parents, the kids you babysit, your own kin and your neighbor are invited. We dare you to invite someone who challenges and see what shifts. This circle welcomes humans of all ages, genders, generations, cultures, and colors.
