Downtown Kent will take the shape of a miniature golf course for Putt Around Downtown Kent on Sat., April 16! Main Street Kent is hosting this popular, family-friendly event where businesses create a custom miniature golf hole for golfers to play. Golfers will check in at Barflyy and play at their leisure from 12pm to 4pm. Each participant will receive a custom black squirrel golf ball sponsored by Birdie Shack, score card, golf pencil, raffle ticket and one drink ticket (valid at Barflyy only on day of event). Guests can bring their own putters, or putters will be available to borrow at each hole. Participants are encouraged to stop for lunch, drinks and/or shopping during the round. The course will be situated within the DORA (Kent's Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area,) so adult beverages purchased at downtown bars/restaurants (served in a special DORA cup) are permitted outside! At 4pm, all are invited back to Barflyy for some 19th Hole fun, including raffle prizes. Bring your completed score card and raffle ticket with you for a chance to win gift cards, golf items and more! Prizes sponsored by Birdie Shack, Hometown Bank, Main Street Kent and Windmill Lakes Golf Club. Grab the kids or a group of friends and hit the links in downtown Kent! This is an all-weather event and tickets are non-refundable.
