Join Utah poets as they read the work of Ukrainian poets to benefit International Red Cross in Ukraine Join Utah poets as they read Ukrainian poetry to benefit the International Red Cross in Ukraine. This event is sponsored by Weller Book Works and The King's English Bookshop in cooperation with the Utah Honorary Consul of Ukraine. This event will be held in the South Court of Trolley Square just outside Weller Book Works' first floor entrance. Our readers will include: Utah's current Poet Laureate Paisley Rekdal, Katherine Coles, Michael Sowder, Rob Carney, Kimberly Johnson, Natasha Sajé, Jay Hopler and Christopher Cokinos. Members of the Utah Ukrainian community will share the written word in Ukrainian to inspire solidarity and humanitarian action. Tickets are $25 and all proceeds go the Red Cross. Additional donations welcome. The book Words for War: New Poems from Ukraine will be for sale from Weller Book Works and proceeds will also be donated to the Red Cross.
