Description

Responsibilities • Identify, sort handle and process various alloys metals • Identify or test metals to be sorted by using hand held analyzer, magnets, and/ or other appropriate methods • Sort metals to separate nonferrous alloys within their categories and separating from high-grade metals such as hi-temp alloys, Titanium, Red metals, white metals, ferrous and non-ferrous metals • Place sorted materials into barrels, bins, gaylords pallets or other appropriate containers • Operate processing equipment, shears, cutters, saws, grinders, puckers, balers, shot blasters or other required equipment • Operate shredder, skip steer and baler to compress recyclable materials into bundles or bales
