Hello, I am on the lookout for a boxer. I prefer one that is 5 years old or less, puppies are okay too, and I'm hoping for a small fawn or brindle female (I love the runts!). I do have little nieces and nephews and a cat, so she has to be good with kids and other animals. I don't care about papers or akc registration, I just want to make sure that she isn't mixed with another breed. I'm hoping to find one that I can train to be an emotional support animal or service animal, if need be for my disabilities. I had a boxer for a number of years and I trained her as my service dog but not legally registered as one, and she was absolutely amazing. Sadly she recently had to be put down due to old age. She was funny, loyal, energetic and a cuddle bug. I am having a hard time finding a boxer that isn't hundreds of dollars. I'm not interested in breeding her or anything like that, I really just want a companion again, I really miss having that. I had rescued her from a puppy mill when she was about 5 and absolutely fell in love, she 100% saved my life. I know the right companion is out there somewhere. It would be nice if she has a docked tail and basic shots and deworming, if not that's okay too, I'll be taking her to the vet for a full work up and spay anyway. If you or anyone you know may be able or willing to help, I would really appreciate it. Thank you!
