VETucation Day Camp For High School Students Sponsored by (VETucation LLC) VETucation Day Camp High School Sponsored by (VETucation LLC) Cost: $185 Per Student (Fee include training, supplies, & snacks) (Bring Your Own Lunch) Location: 100 West Oakdale Road, Irving TX 75060 To Host at Your Location, Add an additional travel fee of $0.51/mile Book a Day Between June 27th - July 1st (10:00 am – 1:00 pm) VETucation camp is a great way for HS students to get a head start with knowledge & practical skills in the veterinary industry. Students will gain Certified Veterinary Assistant Skills, prepare them for the CVA Exam, and expose them to experiences within the animal health career field. Supervised and Instructed by Marissa Runnels (LicensedVeterinary Technician & Agriculture Science Teacher) and Certified Veterinary Assistants. This camp is open to any approved students currently enrolled in a veterinary science program (High School,College, HOSA, FFA). This camp is not affiliated with Irving Independent School District. IrvingISD is not liable for Out-of-District participants. Program Instructors must complete all required documentation and payment at least two weeks prior to participation. Tentative Itinerary: 10am-11:30pm -Introduction to Camp- Guidelines & Expectations -What is CVA?, CVA Intro Video, CVA PPT Presentation -Is Vet School Right for Me? Texas A&M Vet School Tour & Discussion -Is Vet Tech School my Path?
