Hosted by Uncreative L.L.C., this Paint and Sip will show you how to let go of your ego, and use your emotions to make some "happy waves". Please Note: This is an Outdoor Event, rain-or-shine (underneath a shelter outside the NoDa Brewing Company). It will only be cancelled in the event of extreme weather (storms etc.)What We're Doing:We're going to be painting with our feelings instead of our head. I like to think about abstract painting as painting water, it feels natural to lay down the colors that make you feel good. I will provide a framework to follow if you want, but the end goal of this paint and sip will be for everyone to leave with a completely unique piece. Instead of focusing on symbols, we're going to think about color, texture, and expressing our emotion through art. Important Event Details:Food/Drink: This is NOT a BYOB (Bring your Own Beverage). The brewery does allow outside snacks, but you must purchase all drinks from the brewery. The price of this meetup does not include drinks, what it does include: NoDa Brewing Company has more craft beer choices than you could try, also Kombucha and cold brew coffee options as well! Includes: Two hours of fun, stress free painting, instructed and led by me. Your canvas, which you obviously take home after! All the paint you need to make it beautiful! If you want to take home some squirts of paint in to-go containers to make edits/additions later, you are more than welcome! Venue (NoDa Brewing Company)2921 N Tryon St, Charlotte, NC 28206 The Brewery is around back, once you arrive at the location, drive through the fence and around back, it's not hard to find once you're there, but there's a lack of obvious signage out front of the building. 6:30 is when we will start the painting, I recommend arriving at 6:15 so you have time to get situated/ get a drink!
