A theatrical performance portraying Eleanor Roosevelt's 1938 visit to Bulloch Hall, her grandmother's home, in Roswell. ELEANOR ROOSEVELT VISITS ROSWELL Roswell Historic Assets celebrated Women’s History Month in March with a special program by actress Cathy Kaemmerlen, who portrays Eleanor Roosevelt’s visit to Roswell in the 1930s. Eleanor speaks about her grandmother and grandfather, Mittie Bulloch and Theodore Roosevelt, and about her uncle, President Teddy Roosevelt, and about her husband, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Eleanor gives her unique insight as an early twentieth century women’s rights and civil rights advocate who was passionate about equality and social justice. Performances take place at Mimosa Hall, the home of Mittie Bulloch’s aunt and uncle, Jane Bulloch Dunwoody and John Dunwoody. The performances are free-of-charge and seating is open.
