Description

I have a male and a female mixed breed if i had to guess i would say pit bull/great dane mixes that are looking for homes. They are estimated to be around a year old. They have not been fixed yet. I found them stranded outside in the cold starving and scared a few months ago. Since then I took them in a bought them back to a healthy weight, dewormed them, gave them a booster shot just in case, and have been working with them a lot. We call the female baby girl and the male Duke. I have grown very fond of these two. But as much as I would love to keep them my husband says it's time to find them a new home. Baby girl has a (blue merle that has more of a pit look)is very timid. She is very very friendly. She loves to cuddle up at your feet and loves attention. She listens very well and learns well. I haven't tried walking her on leash so I don't know how she would be in that area. She does her best not to potty in the house but she has had accidents when I don't seem to let her out in time. I have a 4 foot chain link fence that she tends to jump right over if given the opportunity. So i put her on a timeout while she is outside in the yard and is just fine with that. But she usually don't go far enough to wear when I see that she's not in the backyard I go out front give her a nice loud call a couple times she comes right back. She is good with our cats and other dogs. But if another dog shows any aggressiveness towards her she will defend her self. But she normally just stays to herself out of trouble. Her brother Duke is a (blue Merle with more of the great Dane look). He is a big baby that loves to play. He is great with kids and other dogs and cats. Loves to play tug of war. He will climb up in the bed with you if you allow him too. He isn't as timid as his sister baby girl. He is more out going and full of life. He has a great personality and always brightens my days with his head tilt every time you talk to him. And will sing to you when it's feeding time. Also like his sister he to likes to scale over the fence if he feels your not paying attention. But when I call for him a few times I have to walk in the house and pretend like I shut the door and he will sneak back to jump the fence into the backyard and act like he was there the whole time. As far as walking goes he has made some progress and with a but more work he would do great. I also put him on a tie out while he us outside just to prevent them from being able to jump the fence and run off. He does tend to potty in the house now. But he seems to still have that puppy mentality. So he is a a very big clumsy pup. I am asking a 75 dollar each for them. And I would like to be able to keep in touch for updates on how they are doing. And if for any reason you can not keep them at any point in time. I do request that they are returned to me weather is would be a few days, months or years after. I will take them back no questions asked where I will keep them. But I need to try and find them a home first. And if it don't work out then they will stay with me. I love these 2 pups and uts going to be heart breaking to see them go. Text me at I will add better pictures soon
