Description

Because the safety of its customers and employees has always been a number-one priority, the Riverside Transit Agency (RTA) has partnered with the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) on a national health and safety program that will keep bus wheels moving during these challenging times. With a strong focus on clean vehicles, safe travel practices, and the guidance of health officials, RTA joins dozens of agencies across the United States who are part of the APTA Health & Safety Commitments Program. Thanks to the program, public transit agencies like RTA are sharpening their individualized policies and practices to maximize safety. RTA has implemented a spectrum of efforts designed to keep our customers and drivers safe, including steps to frequently disinfect buses and require customers to wear masks and practice social distancing while onboard. As one united voice, RTA stands behind the heroic efforts of transit providers and their customers nationwide as we all work together on the recovery now underway. Visit RiversideTransit.com to see what RTA are doing to keep its employees and customers safe, plus a new safety video.
