Our residents & team makes Regency Newcastle an amazing place to work! As a Maintenance Director, you will perform and/or coordinate all repairs and physical maintenance for the community. Ensures preventive maintenance is scheduled and performed on all equipment as needed. Ensure that fire alarm, fire suppression, and other emergency equipment are maintained and tested per the guidelines of the National Fire Protection Agency and other applicable local and state codes. Position Requirements: Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Education or experience sufficient to meet position requirements or as required by State regulations. Meets all mandatory health requirements by State regulations Three to five years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in electrical repairs, plumbing, and or carpentry. Must have a working knowledge of all necessary local, state, and federal safety regulations related to building maintenance and codes. Must have requisite computer skills to complete analytical reports and develop planning charts. Must have basic tools in working condition. Must have worked with vendors/outside contractors to obtain and compare bids and qualifications. Ability to work independently. Ability to obtain Level One HVAC certification.
