Founded in 2002, Creative Cauldron is a professional non-profit performing arts theater, music presenter and educational arts organization with diverse programming hosting opportunities for a wide range of talented theater, music, dance and visual artists from different backgrounds to work and create in a collaborative and supportive environment. Creative Cauldron is known for innovation and its commitment to developing new musicals and plays through its “Bold New Works” initiative. Our annual season programming includes over 200 events including professional theater productions, educational theater productions, concerts, and cabaret series. Theater and Arts Education are an essential component of our work and we offer a broad range of workshops, camps, pre-professional training and life-long learning programs. Position Responsibilities: Creative Cauldron seeks a welcoming positive hospitable firm and fair customer service professional who is an energetic, personable problem solver that enjoys working with people. Someone with the excellent communication skills necessary to comfortably interact with people of varied backgrounds, ethnicity, and socio-economic status. Be able to calmly handle any situation and make independent decisions within a fast-paced pressured environment. We seek someone with verifiable customer service experience, cash handling experience and/or point of sale experience who is able to meet the physical demands of the job which may include lifting / moving objects up to 20 pounds. Must be committed to working as a team member in a close working environment committed to being anti-racist, non-discriminatory and supportive. All creative cauldron employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID 19. We seek someone who would answer telephone calls and provide information about events, passes and assists callers with ticket sales, seating, exchanges, online product sales, health/safety protocols and taking/forwarding messages. Someone who would provide direction with regard to seating assignments and assist with guiding and/or ushering patrons and guests as necessary. The Box Office Associate would ensure seating assignments are consistent with ADA needs as communicated by the Patron or other staff or personal observation. Additionally, the Box Office Associate would receive and process all payments received through the box office and concessions and assist with maintaining and validating adherence to COVID protocols and safety policies The Box Office Associate would also assist in conducting concession sales, directing volunteers, and assembling/distribution of printed materials as necessary.
