Description
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Four new interactive learning spaces await eager kids at the Howard County Library System's Glenwood Branch. Found in the children's section, the installations are created to inspire children to learn through play and are based on five practices of early literacy - talk, sing, read, write and play.
These latest additions are part of the recent renovation of the branch, which also includes new shelving with forward-facing book displays to improve access to items of the children's collection and a Builders' Barn that features always available age-appropriate supplies and activities for children to design and create.
The interactive stations were manufactured and installed by The Burgeon Group.
The library is located at 2350 MD-97, Cooksville.
