SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests: At 2:58 a.m. on March 7, Secaucus Police responded to the Passaic Police Department to take into custody a 47-year-old male, Paul Snellings of Paterson, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ with no bail. The warrant was issued for the charge of Theft [2C:20-3A] following an incident that occurred at Ready Warehouse and Logistics located at 125 Seaview Drive, Secaucus, NJ. Snellings was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Fairfield, NJ in the amount of $750. He was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail. At 3:16 a.m. on March 8, Secaucus Police observed a suspicious person in the area of 813 Minnie Place. During the investigation, the police arrested a 36-year-old male of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $200. He was unable to post bail for the involved warrant. Officers from the Jersey City Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of him for transport back to their authority. At 4:31 p.m. on March 8 Secaucus Police responded to Home Depot located at 1055 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 55-year-old female, Wilma Arroyo of Union City, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)]. Arroyo was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody. At 11:25 a.m. on March 9, Secaucus Police responded to Sam's Club located at 300 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 30-year-old male, Giovanni Arroyo of Union City, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)]. Mr. Arroyo was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody. At 8:49 p.m. on March 10, Secaucus Police responded to Buchmuller Park in the area of the basketball courts on a report of a fight. During the investigation, the police arrested a 64-year-old man from Secaucus after the man entered Secaucus Police Headquarters to report further details regarding the fight. The male was taken into custody and charged with Aggravated Assault [2C:12-1B(2)], Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purpose, a baseball bat [2C:39-4D] and Endangering the Welfare of a Child [2C:24-4A(2)]. The male was served his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail. His name is not being released in an attempt to protect the identity of the victim. At 10:17 a.m. on March 11, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 35-year-old male of Irvington, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Woodbridge, NJ in the amount of $1,000. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.
