PHILADELPHIA — A pregnant woman was punched and shoved by a man on a SEPTA bus after authorities said she refused to give him her seat. According to SEPTA Police, the incident occurred at about 1:44 a.m. on a SEPTA bus at 8th and Market streets. The woman, who is two months pregnant, told SEPTA police a man punched her in the face and shoved her into a pole after she did not give him her seat, authorities said. Additionally, the man threatened to follow the woman home and beat her up, authorities said. The driver called police and the woman was taken to a hospital, Fox 29 reports the man is described as 6 feet 2 inches tall.
