LIVERMORE, CA — The California Highway Patrol closed two lanes of eastbound Interstate Highway 580 and issued a sig alert at Vasco Road after a blue BMW sports utility vehicle crashed on Sunday, ejecting the driver from the car. The crash, reported at 12:55 p.m., occurred when the BMW crossed all lanes and struck an embankment, according to witnesses. No further details were available.
