JOLIET, IL — A 60-year-old Joliet man was arrested Sunday night after Joliet police say he was driving through red lights while under the influence of alcohol and drugs. Officers arrested Bryan Kenney and booked him into the Will County Jail on the following charges: Possession of controlled substancesPossession of 30 to 100 grams of marijuanaDUIDUI over 0.08 Unlawful possession of marijuana by a driverReckless drivingMultiple traffic violations Joliet police say officers tried to pull over Kenney's car around 7:30 p.m. after he drove through a red light on Raynor Avenue and West Jefferson Street. "The vehicle was ... making a U- turn and heading back northbound on Raynor Avenue," police spokesman Dwayne English indicated. "The driver initially refused to stop, but then stopped near Richmond Street and Wilcox Street." Kenney showed signs of alcohol impairment and indicated he had been drinking, police said. When he refused to attempt field sobriety tests, officers arrested him. "Upon search of Kenney's vehicle, officers recovered cannabis and psilocybin mushrooms," English announced. Will County Jail logs listed Kenney as being a resident of St. Paul, Texas.
