EDINA, MN — The Edina High School boys hockey team bounced back from a disappointing loss in the Class AA state tournament to win the consolation final. Edina fell 5-2 to Maple Grove on Thursday in the opening round of the state tournament, dropping the Hornets into the consolation bracket at 3M Arena at Mariucci. Less than 24 hours after its defeat in the quarterfinals, the Edina boys hockey team dusted itself off and ran out as 4-3 winners Friday over Cretin-Derham High School in its first consolation game.
