WILL COUNTY, IL — A lost dog or cat can be a pet owner's worst nightmare. Families often cover towns in 'lost pet' flyers and reach out on social media for help. For those who may be searching for a pet, or if you have seen a lost animal and are trying to report it, Patch has created a list of animals who were recently lost or found, including some found by Will County Animal Control, or listed on Lost Cats Illinois or Lost Dogs Illinois. Bolingbrook A Pit Bull was found in Bolingbrook near Pinecrest and Rockhurst Jan. 16. Joliet A female brown, grey and tan cat was seen in Joliet Jan. 16 near County Line Road and Hadrian. Paco, a male Pit Bull, has been missing from Joliet since Jan. 12. Manhattan Roxy, a female Boston Terrier/Boxer, has been missing from Manhattan near Third Street and Andrea Drive since Jan. 20. Wilmington Rio "Reeree," a female domestic longhair cat has been missing from Wilmington since Jan. 12. For more information on pets found by Will County Animal Control, call them at (815) 462-5633. The organization does not have the ability to keep strays for long, and will give the dog over to an adoption facility. If you are looking for a lost pet, you can email [email protected] to have your pet added to the article.
