WILL COUNTY, IL — A lost dog or cat can be a pet owner's worst nightmare. Families often cover towns in 'lost pet' flyers and reach out on social media for help. For those who may be searching for a pet, or if you have seen a lost animal and are trying to report it, Patch has created a list of animals who were recently lost or found, including some found by Will County Animal Control, or listed on Lost Cats Illinois or Lost Dogs Illinois. Bolingbrook Muffin, a female Bichon Frise, Shih Tzu mix, has been missing from Bolingbrook since Oct. 5, 2018. A small Calico cat, mainly white, was spotted Jan. 22 in Bolingbrook near Shady and Bakermil. Joliet Sapphire has been missing from Joliet since Oct. 2, 2018. She would no longer be a puppy. Plainfield Opal the male cat has been missing from Plainfield since Dec. 22. He was last seen near Union Street and Pratt Lane. Romeoville This female dog was found in Romeoville Jan. 9. The organization does not have the ability to keep strays for long, and will give the dog over to an adoption facility.
