Description

AURORA, IL — An Aurora church is hosting an Easter egg hunt open to young children from around the area. New England Congregational Church's event on April 16 is just a hop, skip and a jump away. "This event will take place regardless of rain or shine," Audra Darche, event coordinator, said in a statement. "Bring your children, grandchildren, neighbors and friends." The event will start at 11 a.m. in Friendship Hall on the church's third floor and will include table activities and a selfie station. Once indoor activities conclude, kids will go outside to hunt for eggs hidden on church grounds. Guests are asked to bring their own basket for the egg hunt, according to a news release. Children 1 year old through fourth-grade age are welcome to participate in the free Easter event. Parking is also free.
