MANHATTAN, IL — The Manhattan Park District announced summer camp — Camp Coyote — will return on July 6 and will take place virtually. According to the park district, campers ages 5 to 11 will spend time on virtual field trips, STEM experiments, crafts, weekly virtual visits to the Manhattan-Elwood Library and more. In a news release, the park district said they are striving to offer as much possible within the necessary restrictions set by the State of Illinois and the CDC due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Register today to reserve your spot as campers will be limited to 20 each week, the park district said.
Anyone with questions or looking for more information can join the park district for their Virtual Camp Coyote Open House Zoom meeting from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

During this virtual open house, you can meet the camp's staff, hear about camp safety protocols and curriculum and participate in a question and answer session.
