RIVERHEAD, NY — The search is on for a missing Riverhead teen. According to Riverhead Town Police, Walter Alvarado-Cruz, 16, is Hispanic, 5-feet, 3-inches tall and 115 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. Walter left the Timothy Hill Children's Ranch located on Middle Road in Riverhead on Friday between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. without permission; no foul play is suspected, police said. He was reported to have been seen on First Avenue in Huntington, New York on Saturday at 1:30 a.m., police said.
