As the holiday season quickly approaches, Eversource is joining forces with law enforcement agencies and other utility companies across the US to warn people about increased scam activity at this time of year. If business people, nonprofit organizations or residents in your communities receive threatening calls about their electricity being shut off for nonpayment, we urge them to hang up and call Eversource Customer Service at 1-800-662-7764 to verify the status of their accounts. The Company is offering extended payment arrangement terms and other programs and services to help its customers manage their finances during this trying time.
