This is a scattershot post to describe myself in the pursuit of finding future collaborators. I am an eclectic layman who enjoys many realms of music. I am an intermediate singer who also likes to scream and rap (prefer screaming more as catharsis than motif for what it's worth - re: rap, I'm a writer not freestyler although once in a blue). Enjoys many genres such as hip hop, rnb, reggae, rock, metal, punk, pop. I don't have any tech to work with right now aside from a good amount of electric guitar gear - I have some vocal covers in the works to put on Instagram when I get some free time. I used to make beats but my laptop stopped functioning during the winter storm last year - don't have the funds to replace it in the near future but I do have a reliable and recently-bought car. I'm jonesing to get back into making music and want to become proficient at writing and working with other creators towards the inception of good music, whatever genre, and I'm ready and willing to put in the work that requires. This is my passion and I don't necessarily have to be rewarded in success or capital to be fulfilled doing it. I'm laid back, a good listener and team player, very politically left-oriented, loyal but rational, someone who values good communication, and independently-minded. Other info: 27 y/o white dude, long hair, working class 9-5, good transportation, music nerd, hip hop head, 420 friendly, has a cat, generally flexible schedule but eventually going back to school, happy to work with anyone who has family or other life obligations, open-minded when it comes to collaborators If I could possibly be an asset to you and your music-making, let's chat. I am ideally and generally looking for equal, long-term creative partners who are willing to come together to make decisions as a project. Some situations I may fit well with: -vocalist who can play small shows with a backing guitarist (if you want to make some side money on the bar scene) -vocalist for a band (can play some rhythm guitar if nec.) -a beat producer or similar creator interested in going 50/50 as an artist with a versatile vocalist -hip hop crews -maybe even a hype man Available for try-outs; no drama or hard feelings if I don't fit. I love music and I love people.
