I work with a team driving mail from NE Halsey/181st to the downtown PDX post office. We're looking for one more team member, as several of us would like less work days. The job runs 5 days weekly, but each member takes 2-3 mornings a week. Hours are 5am to between 10 and noon, depending on the day. (There's a break between runs, about 6:30-9) each run requires a driver and rider. The driver is compensated for gas each week. Weekly paychecks run $150-460 depending on rider/driver and days/hours worked. Auto deposit each week. We drive our own vehicles when we take a drive shift. Requires a van or covered truck for large mail trays. Lifting....figure 25 lbs max for one of those trays. Potential employee goes through Fed security check, similar to the one you go through for working in public school or day care, at no expense to you. No felonys. age 18+. It's a terrific side hustle for self employed creatives. I wouldn't be doing myself if it wasn't cost effective. It's quick and easy, so I can get back into my studio...yet have some grocery $. Our contractor/boss runs several of these contracts with various biz and government. He lives in Missouri and finds a general employee hunt doesn't work as well as a personal referral from one of us. I put this here, because it would be most cost effect to live in NE or SE PDX area closer to Gresham, or in Gresham proper, than the applicants he's been getting from west side or out of the area. As it's secure mail, it's not beneficial for me to name businesses we serve in general public. However, this is a legitimate part time job offer, so if you need a little part time work, please DM me.
