Description
On Monday the 7th a large brindle colored dog who has been running red-collared but unleashed in the neighborhood for weeks snatched my little puppy out of our front yard, ran with her down three blocks to his house, and viciously attacked her. My neighbor witnessed the grab and chased them but lost them around the corner. Another amazing good Samaritan heard my dog screaming and pried her out of the dogs jaws. She had surgery all night that saved her life. She is terribly disfigured and lost her eye, but I think she will recover. Her throat was slit all the way around and she is covered in puncture wounds. But she ate some lunch meat today and took water from a syringe, so Im hopeful. If she had been chewed on for even 30 more seconds she would be dead. Whoever saved my dogs life handed her off to me and I raced her to the hospital without even getting his name. What I have is a totally unrealistic attachment to my dog and I know this... Im cool with that. Lol
So what this man did for me was truly heroic and life changing for me. He lives near Sirrine and 2nd Avenue in Mesa and drives a light colored (maybe green?) 4 door car. I want to thank that man so much, give him a reward or at the very least a hug. So grateful for the generosity of a good neighbor who acted unselfishly and put himself at great risk to save my little one. THANK YOU Downtown Southside Heights hero. ❤
