Meet Cashew (also affectionately known as Zuma by her foster family). This pup is ready for adventure with her forever family! This sweet girl is all fun and never says no to an opportunity to explore and play. For such a young pup, she’s extremely confident and brave having no problem loving on strangers or exploring new places. From chase to tug-o-war, Zuma loves to play and knows how to make almost anything into a toy or game including empty water bottles, sticks, food bowls, and bean bag chairs. Speaking of beanbag chairs… after a long play session, this sweet girl knows how to make herself comfortable and has no qualms curling up and taking a snooze in your lap. She is also showing signs of enjoying playing in water, so she’ll be excited to join you on your next trip to the river. Zuma is 9 weeks old and about 14 pounds (as of 3/14). She does well in her crate and is quickly picking up on her house training ques. She is also learning her house and leash manners quite quickly as she is eager to please and pretty clever. She loves other pups and is great with the 2 and 4 year old kids in her foster home. Sometimes she even seeks out the 2 year old for cuddles! Because she loves to play and explore, she would do best in a home with a yard or where she gets regular walks. If you’re ready for fun and adventure, then this is the pup for you!
