Black Horse Group, LLC is currently taking applications for Mason Foreman, Carpenter Foreman, Masons, Carpenters and Laborers The Foreman duties will include supervision of crew, to include ensuring materials, equipment and manpower are planned daily for work. Duties also include maintaining time cards, daily report and production report. Responsible for safety and quality of work for crew. Foreman reports directly to the field superintendent. Must have proven experience as a foremen in the trade applying. Mason: Requires experience in concrete flat work including sidewalks, slab on grade work, brick, CMU and building foundations. Able to run various concrete spreading and curing equipment on large scale project. Carpenters: Requires experience in rough and finish carpentry, laying out work, experience in work such as installing millwork, light gauge and wood framing partition walls and drywall and finishing, acoustical ceiling tile grid install, door frames//doors and hardware, concrete formwork. General Laborer: Requires experience on construction site, ability to lift 50 lbs, ability follow direction and take initiative, use limited hand tools. Foremen must be able to read blue prints and understand the work at hand. Positions may require travel to various project sites within upstate NY including the Syracuse Area and Watervliet Arsenal (Troy, NY). Prevailing wage rates apply to these positions with additional premium for Foreman. OSHA 10 required for all. Must have own hand tools.
