Job Description TooBigForMyCar.com is looking for professional, friendly and motivated people to manage moving, delivery and assembly jobs throughout the Portland Metro Area. Previous moving experience is preferred, but we're willing to train the right people. Join the best team in the business. Responsibilities and Duties The Job: Ensuring furniture shipments are ready for transport, properly inspected, wrapped and secured. Great communication, managing and directing the delivery process to ensure the best customer experience. Follow detailed procedures to ensure safe deliveries. Assembly of items such as beds and dining tables. Help develop training processes and procedures. We have Full-time and Part-time positions. Advancement opportunities are also available in Warehouse, Sales, Marketing, & Training. Must be available to work Saturdays, but you'll always have Sundays off and then two other days back to back. Qualifications and Skills The ideal candidate For Lead Driver: Has at least one year of moving or comparable furniture delivery experience, but we're willing to train the right person. Is a motivated and friendly can-do problem solver. Is capable of lifting 100 lbs. Experience driving 24ft box trucks. Experience assembling furniture. Is fun to work with. Is always dependable and on time. Has a clean driving record and reliable transportation to work.
