6. Our goal is to have enough good inventory (painted, clean, etc.) to satisfy all current work orders at any given time. Paint shop is responsible for replenishing holes in good inventory and you consume inventory and round and round we go. Reality often is you may need something that is not ready…work with Paint shop to prioritize….it is still YOUR responsibility that that Work Order gets completed! This is why it is of most important to look at ALL WORK ORDERS every day
7. Communicate, communicate, communicate….large piles of undone Work Orders means there are just as many customers out their waiting and unhappy
8. Equipment repairs…you may need lids, locks, casters, nuts, bolts, rods if something can’t be done in field with hand tools coordinate with shop to bring equipment in for work
