FACILITIES MANAGER Trinity Episcopal Church, Excelsior, MN 55331 Part Time; $25/hour for approximately 5 - 15 hours/week Job Announcement: Seeking a service-oriented, organized, and reliable individual to serve as our church Facilities Manager. Must have experience providing general facilities management and oversight as well as hands-on maintenance. Must also have experience coordinating larger maintenance projects with service providers. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide necessary on-the-spot and scheduled maintenance and repairs throughout the building and its exterior • Assess facility and building grounds for any safety or structural issues and provide any necessary resolutions • Identify, vet, and recommend appropriate contractors/vendors for necessary repairs to larger physical plant (i.e. furnace, air conditioning, roof, etc.) and provide oversight • Be available, as necessary and appropriate, for urgent repairs • Provide regular updates to Rector and church Vestry (may include regular meeting attendance) and, as needed, participate in church committees • Maintain detailed records of regular and deferred maintenance and current records for all vendors and contractors • Help with monitoring and coordinating building access and security • Oversee custodial service APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS: • Resume or other description of experiences (please include: name of facility/building, location, time in position, description of duties/tasks) • Names and contact information for at least 2 references from current or prior supervisors/managers.
