Description
Hello!
There is an outlet (only one side) that no longer provides power to the overhead lights in my rental house kitchen. This happened after trying to install a new light when something short circuited the entire line and seemed to fry it. I've had a couple professionals come in and recommend re-wiring as they couldn't figure out how to fix the existing line.
I can provide some photos of the issue but I am an out of state landlord looking for an experienced electrician who can do this job well. I am close with the tenants and they are happy to help and provide access to the issue.
What's needed specifically?
- Take out old busted wire from one side of the semi working outlet
- Replace old wire with working wire to outlet and to the two overhead lights it attaches to
- Install the two overhead lights I purchased before the outlet blew
Please provide hourly compensation and/or job estimates.
Thank you!
