Description
needed: new home for sweet 20 month old mixed breed dog. We rescued him at 10-11 months old. We now know he needs a home with NO KIDS. We and the behaviorist we worked with were not comfortable with the way he sometimes responds to kids... most of the time he's fine but that's not enough. We've been told training is not the issue; he is just not a great dog for families with kids.
We will all be very sad to see him leave as most of the time, he is a gentle and loving dog.
He is fixed, microchipped and thoroughly crate and house trained so there is a rehoming fee of $300. He doesn't chew on things that aren't his...generally very polite and content. He has recently become more anxious around new people but quickly settles once we call him off. He is quite prey driven so sometimes plays hard with our outside cats but if they don't run, he doesn't chase.
Please reach out if you are interested and able to give him a new home; I will share more details.
He is around 50# but thinks he's a lapdog; seasonal shedding (little to none over winter!) We guess him to be a border collie/lab/hound mix but aren't sure.
