Description

MANHATTAN, IL — The village of Manhattan and the village of Peotone are considering entering into an Intergovernmental Jurisdictional Boundary Line agreement between the two villages. The agreement will be considered by the village at its Feb. 18 meeting. The village said the boundary line will be "substantially the same" as the existing boundary line. Minor changes are proposed in order to avoid severing any existing lots. You can see the boundary line agreement and map at Manhattan village hall, 260 Market Place, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. You can also submit communications in writing about the agreement with the village before 4 p.m. Feb. 18, the village said.
