beware of puppy scammers

I’ve recently been online browsing for a puppy companion and have noticed there is a person or group of people posting what seems like legitimate puppy pictures, communicating as if they “care so much” about the phantom litter, sending images and videos and then asking for money to ship them at the very last stage. I’ve responded to a handful of these adds to see what happens and it’s roughly the same experience every time. They ask for your email to send over details and photos and I’m not sure what they’re doing with the email addresses. But ultimately requesting money. Just giving everyone out there a heads up so they don’t send money or their hopes to a person manipulating them in a scam.
