Mile High Recovery Center is a quickly expanding addiction treatment center located in the Congress Park neighborhood of Denver. We are focused on helping those with addictions transform through integrated care. Individuals in recovery are encouraged to apply. The Handyman will always be working on a wide variety of projects. Individuals in recovery are encouraged to apply. We are looking for a versatile handyman who is excited to interact with individuals in early recovery. A Handyman is generally responsible for minor electrical, mechanical and plumbing related repairs. Although not an exhaustive list some of the responsibilities are listed below: Perform minor electrical repairs in community areas, including lights and laundry. Building and moving furniture. Ensure mechanical equipment is in working order and fixed as necessary. Complete general building cleaning and maintenance. Install and replace floors, stairs and piping as needed. Repair and paint doors, windows, walls, ceilings, roofs and other parts of the building. Maintain trash and recycling receptacles around the facility. Maintain and repair air conditioning and heating systems as required. Ability to safely use common power and hand tools HVAC knowledge and repair skills Experience installing and replacing plumbing systems Strong communication skills with property management and tenants Self-starter with good time management skills Qualifications: Compensation: $20-$24 hourly performance based raise at 90 days and annually Work Vehicle Provided Health, Dental, Vision Generous Paid Time off Flu and Covid-19 vaccination required Individuals in recovery are encouraged to apply.
