Frank Stiefel, at 72, is sharing the astonishing story of his Oscar win at age 71 through seminars dedicated to how one can begin a creative career at any age. It's a story Frank knows well. He had his directorial debut at about age 60 with the documentary short "Ingelore." His second documentary, "Heaven is a Traffic Jam on the 405," at age 70, earning him an Oscar. An executive in the TV commercial industry for 35 years, Frank then turned to photography, which led to his one-man exhibit, "The Townspeople of Bridgehampton" at the Guild Hall Museum in New York. From there, his interest in the creative arts eventually brought him to directing his documentaries. Clearly, a very talented individual who believes anyone can enjoy a creative career at any age.
