On Thursday September 17, 2020 in a post to Facebook the restaurant made the following post:
"Thirsty Moose Merrimack patrons, out of an abundance of caution we voluntarily and temporarily decided to close after learning earlier this week that a staff member tested positive for Covid-19. This employee was not at work this week and there is no elevated risk to the public. Out of concern for the health and safety of our staff and guests we closed the restaurant while awaiting further guidance from local authorities.
Additionally, we have used this time to fully deep clean and disinfect the facility. We will reopen the restaurant tomorrow, Friday 9/18.
Thank you for your patience and understanding and we will see you this weekend."
