Kelly Services is hiring for a local, family owned business here in Beaverton, OR! This position is entry level with growth opportunities! Assistant Ink Dispenser Operator Pay Rate: $17.50 Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7am-5:30pm Location: Beaverton, OR Temp to Hire MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Checks out buckets of ready-made ink to flexo operators as needed for jobs being staged. Checks in buckets of left-over ink from flexo operators once jobs are completed.  Scans and weighs buckets of ink during Check-In process. Stores ink buckets in assigned locations within ink inventory racks. Maintains clean and organized ink inventory storage area. Operates the ink dispenser in a safe and efficient manner, maintaining expected standards of production quality & waste. Reads and initials Ink Production Work Orders (IPWO) to verify knowledge of order specifications at the beginning of each order. Verifies ink quality by measuring pH, viscosity and spectrophotometer reading to confirm correct color. Performs daily maintenance, cleaning and upkeep of machine as directed by Production Manager. Notifies Art Manager when dispenser bases are getting low. Notifies Production Manager when maintenance problems arise. Follows Instructions and requests from Management. Follows all company policies and procedures. Is dependable and reports to work on time. Communicates well with all team members. Keeps machine and area clean, organized and clutter-free. Complies with Departmental and job safety practices, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and monitoring placement of machine guards and interlocks. Completes any other job duties requested by Management.
