Join a great team with long term career and advancement opportunities.We are looking for 2nd Shift Assemblers in Willard, Ohio!Wage: 2nd Shift $17.50/hr. with potential to increase to $18/hr. + Shift Differential upon conversion to full time hire with MTD after proven attendance and performanceHours: 2nd Shift 3:30PM - 12:30AMJob Description: An Assembler may use a variety of hand tools, testing equipment, hardware fixtures, and work instructions, in collaboration with other assemblers and departments, to complete a series of operations to assemble MTD components or products.Training & Culture: No experience? No problem! Willard has trainers available to help you be successful. Additionally, their onsite Mentor program offers a team there to support you every step of the way as you become familiar with your new assignment and provides a friendly and welcoming culture.Responsibilities:Complete assigned production activities according to work instructions and allotted timeSetup work stations as neededComplete quality inspections of both in-process and finished productsPerform operator level maintenance as neededMaintain a clean and organized work areaOther related production duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Group LeaderMinimum Qualifications:Manual dexterity: ability to use hand tools and other equipment as needed in the allotted timeAble to operate in a fast-paced work environmentAbility to walk, stand, and periodically lift up to 40 lbs. for a minimum of eight hours daily
