Position Title: Material System Technician Wage: $19.40/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00am – 3:00pm Come join a great 1st shift team as a Material System Technician! Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Review production schedule and set-up materials - Read, follow and verify work orders to ensure product is manufactured to specifications - Complete electronic material log sheets - Change materials as required - Identify and label raw materials - Program, set up, and operate entire material handling system including blenders, dryers, hoppers and grinder evacuation units - Troubleshoot and correct common material and material system problems - Complete moisture tests on Max 4000XL Moisture Analzyer - Clean and help maintain material blenders, hoppers, dryers, and grinders - Complete material transactions - Inspect manufactured parts. - Perform cycle counts of raw material - Change, clean and maintain pump filters in material system - Unload "Bulk Material Trucks" into proper silo - Verify closed loop regrind systems are in place and working. - Mix raw materials as needed using the correct formulas Requirements for Material System Technician: - High School Diploma or equivalent - At least one year of manufacturing material handling experience preferred, preferably in an injection molding environment - Forklift experience preferred - Basic math skills - Familiar with computers and data entry - Able read, write and follow written instructions in English - Able to lift, push and pull up to 85lbs - Able to work overtime and rotating weekends as needed Benefits: - Insurance (medical, dental, vision, life, disability) - 401k - Paid time off - Paid holidays and lunch - Onsite medical clinic - Tuition reimbursement - Company discounts - Profit sharing plan QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic.
