We are seeking an experienced, customer-focused, high energy individual to lead a team of 2-3 lawn maintenance crew members. Crew Leaders are responsible for a lawn maintenance route with both residential and commercial properties. Must have strong communication, customer service and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a variety of lawn maintenance and landscaping equipment. Job Requirements: Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team player 2+ years experience managing lawn maintenance crews Excellent customer service skills Experience driving a truck and trailer Attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment Strong time management skills Desire to lead and train crew members Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Bilingual is a plus but not necessary Daily Responsibilities: Ensure you and your crew members follow safety protocols. Perform lawn maintenance activities such as mowing, line trimming, hedge trimming, weed control applications, tree pruning and clean up. Achieve budgeted timelines for the route, ensuring crew dispatches on time, with proper equipment, tools and materials. Operate power equipment including various sized power mowers, gas-powered edger/trimmers, gas-powered backpack blower, hedge trimmers, pole saws and chain saws. Professional and effective communication with crew members, customers and management. Position requires physical activity and heavy lifting including unloading trucks and moving equipment and plant materials up to 50 pounds.
