The General Cleaning/Preventative Maintenance performs scheduled deep cleaning and preventative maintenance in guest rooms to ensure rooms are maintained according to the highest standards of cleanliness and repair. Skills and Ability to: •Physical strength and manual dexterity to operate necessary equipment and perform required maintenance/cleaning duties including lifting/moving heavy furniture. •Write routine reports, read and interpret instruction sheets and procedure manuals and complete checklists. •Communicate effectively with guests and co-workers in order to accurately receive and convey information. •Manage one’s time to complete daily activities according to work schedule. •Maintain a neat and clean appearance to represent the hotel positively. •Meet attendance requirements with dependability and consistency. •Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support team goals. Education and Experience: •Previous preventative maintenance experience preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Heavy Work: Exerting up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.
